Translators > Susana Torres
Susana Torres Prieto (Madrid, 1974) started her activity as translator and interpreter in international forums almost twenty years ago. Doctor in Philology by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, she has carried her research at the Universities of Cambridge and La Sorbonne. She has published some literary translations as well, among which is worth mentioning the first anthology of poems of the Scot poet Robert Burns (with Gavin A. Hay) in Spanish. In 2007 she set up her own translation agency "Kalíope Traducciones Académicas, S.L.", whose aim was the promotion of Spanish research on the Humanities in international forums. Currently, she combines the management of this agency with her activity as university teacher of Classics.
