Born and raised in Monterey, California, Morgan has always loved both reading and languages. While studying at the University of California, Santa Cruz, she discovered Linguistics and immediately enjoyed looking at the intricacies of the languages she had been studying. She spent a year abroad in Barcelona, studying Art History and Catalan at the University of Barcelona, and, after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies, returned to this city to try her hand at teaching English.
When offered the opportunity to study a Master of Arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara and teach Spanish, she returned to her home state. However she was soon lured back to Spain and to Barcelona to study further, graduating with a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Spanish Philology from the University of Barcelona.
For the past ten years, she has lived in Barcelona, teaching English and translating texts on a wide variety of subjects, ranging from biotechnology to finance to marketing and advertising.
