Susana Badiola was born in Oñate, Guipúzcoa (Spain). She earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy from Universidad Complutense, Madrid, Spain. Her research interests lie in epistemology, philosophy of language, and contemporary philosophy. Badiola has published articles on L. Wittgenstein, P. F. Strawson, the a priori, transcendental arguments, and contemporary metaphysics. Her career as a translator started in 1995 with Robert Louis Stevenson's Scottish Tales. Since then she has published translations in the areas of philosophy and literature, including P. F. Strawson's Skepticism and Naturalism and Robert Louis Stevenson's The Master of Ballantrae. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Angelo State University, where she teaches History of Philosophy, Logic and Critical thinking, Ethics, and Philosophy of Science.
